This possibility increased to terrifying proportions when at one stage we met a couple who stood to chat with Brian. The boy was a good friend of mine, but wonder of wonders he didn’t recognise me and I felt very good and secure in the knowledge that if he hadn’t recognised me, nobody would! And so I started to relax and enjoy the wonderful feelings associated with being a girl.
